The Hospitals of Ross and Cromarty
The Hospitals of Ross and Cromarty is now published. The photo shows the Ross Memorial Hospital, Dingwall which is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2023. Invergordon Hospital has also just passed its centenary in opening as a fever hospital. The A5 book is a similar format to The Hospitals of Inverness and only slightly smaller. It contains a detailed history of hospitals in Dingwall (including Peterkin Ward), Cromarty, Maryburgh, Strathpeffer and Invergordon as well as poorhouses near Fortrose and Tain.
